Call for Letters to the Editors!
Issue 03: (un/in)scripted

Have you felt excited or frustrated by a Vermin article? Is the tip of your tongue loaded with things you think The Vermin’s editorial team must know? We want to hear it all!

We are accepting letters to the editors for Issue 03: (un/in)scripted. This issue of The Vermin is meant to be a self-reflexive terrain to examine what we are doing (and not doing) when we write, print, and disseminate. As such, we are interested in having the silent thoughts and judgements of our readers occupy space in the magazine, simultaneously interrupting and contributing to the editors’ curatorial process.

Although we always encourage genuine critique, the letters to the editors are primarily meant to serve design and satirical purposes, so preference will go to light-hearted, tongue-in-cheek, shady and/or seemingly incoherent letters!

How to submit:

Letters can be submitted via email to theverminmag@gmail.com with thesubject line “letters to the editors.”

To be considered for publication, letters should:

  • Preferably be 150 to 200 words.
  • Preferably (strongly encouraged but not mandatory) refer to a piece that has appeared within Issue 01 or Issue 02 of The Vermin or the magazine at large
  • Be signed with your name or pseudonym, date, as well as city/town and country.

Because of the large volume of submissions we receive, we cannot personally acknowledge each submission. Please note that letters may be edited and shortened for space and design purposes.
